Thessalonica Court and Brookhaven, located in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx. Together the two properties consist of 286 units of affordable housing. These previously distressed properties were acquired by Mill Plain in December 2004 through financing provided by a combination of New York City HDC bonds and New York City HPD Low Income Housing Tax Credits.

Rehabilitation took place during 2005, providing units with kitchen and bathroom upgrades, electrical and plumbing upgrades, elevator infrastructure replacement, repair and replacement of HVAC systems, and improvement of common areas, security systems and equipment (the properties now have more than 120 DVR recording security cameras and a keyless entry computer monitored front door system). Additionally, a large percentage of the apartments received new floors and were repainted.

The exterior of the buildings received new roofs, new windows, brick pointing, and the installment of a playground (at Thessalonica Court). A computer lab, equipped with new systems and internet access, was built in Thessalonica Court. Computer classes are offered to the tenants.
